Reservations are not required for the a la carte restaurants, but there may be a small wait at peak times. Since there are two buffets, it never feels overcrowded and hardly ever a wait. In the lobby, there is also a coffee and snack station where you can find cold brew and frozen Frappuccino’s.
The atmosphere
This resort is very much geared towards families and children. It is bright and airy with fun at every corner. The entertainment staff gets everyone going with aqua gym, dance lessons, volleyball and other fun activities. At night, the lobby is the place to be. With a beautiful breeze flowing through and plenty of seating, you will find lots of families enjoying the night. There is also great live music at the large lobby bar and friendly servers eager to quench your thirst.
The Rooms
The rooms are reminiscent of a Caribbean retreat with turquoise and white abound. Balconies have bright bougainvillea plants to remind you that you are in the tropics. Many of the suites have a living area which you step down to enjoy the couch and balcony. The resort only has six floors, so it is not a large high rise, and with four elevators, you won’t spend half your vacation waiting to get up to your room.
The Pool
There is a main pool area right in the center of the resort. Although it is by no means the largest pool in Cancun, it is filled with lots of fun. Upbeat party music and activities begin around noon in the pool area and keeps the kids, and adults, entertained all day. There is a smaller pool shaped like a clover near the kids water park, in the front of the building, as well. This is a quieter area in terms of music and activities.

This may not be the quietest area during the day, but by sunset, many of the guests are heading in to get ready for the evening, so that may be the best time to have a ceremony at the gazebo.
