From the villa’s terraces, it seems like the sandy beach and warm turquoise water are at your doorstep, and indeed, Playacar Beach is only a 1-minute walk away. For shopping and dining or a night out, head to La Quinta (Fifth Avenue), a 12-minute walk from Alta Vista, or make the 10-minute drive into central Playa del Carmen. Golf devotees can choose between the Hard Rock course, 5 minutes away, and the El Camaleon course at Mayakoba, 25 minutes away.
