This is just one imagining of what so many of our guests consider the perfect day in Negril. Bounce around our site for more ways to spend your days.
Get Going-
No alarm clock in sight. No regrettably pre-paid 8:00am tour waiting. Wake up when you want to. Maybe you're still in your private hammock and still in your bathing suit. You could shower like you do at home, but you're in Jamaica – take a salt scrub in a warm tub called the Caribbean Sea.
Head to a hearty seafront buffet breakfast of fresh fruits, omelets, juices, and lots more prepared for you by Jean and Kerry-Ann. By the way, plenty of these delights come from our own trees – fresh and organic. Stretch out on the deck to mull over what you'll do – or not do – today.
Keep an eye on the sea: aside from the gorgeous view, you might see dolphins and flying mantas. Epic Selfie Op.
What can you do here that you probably can't do at home? Go crab- and gecko-spotting on the cliffs. Bargain with a glass-bottom boat operator for a cheap tour of the reef. Stroll through the gardens with Melvin, our groundskeeper, who can tell you the uses for everything you see. Your hammock is calling.
Nap over. Grab a cheap cab ride to town and haggle for a funky souvenir. Follow your nose to a hidden hole-in-the-wall eatery where you're the only non-native and try some Ackee and Saltfish Stamp and Go (fritters). Don't be surprised if you get invited to a private home for dinner, and by all means go! Just be smart and only accept from an established vendor or confirmed regular, not a street passerby. Head home and wander over to Lesia for an open-air, seafront massage.
We host lots of carefree, island-style weddings at both Samsara and Legends for parties ranging from just the bride and groom, to big celebrations with family and friends, and all sizes in between.
We have a classic wedding package, which you can choose to upgrade and customize into a great party, and of course we offer up some recommendations based on the best weddings we've had. Prime among our suggestions – get married between 5:00 - 6:00pm and you'll have a fantasy Caribbean sunset as your backdrop.
